Been a bit twee the last two weeks as I found myself making wall plaques of local Moorland & Bluebell woods from photo’s that I’d taken on walks with my mobile, I rolled out slabs, waitede to dry a little, then carved the energy and life of the landscapes into the clay, after bisque firing: underglazes, oxides, stoneware & earthenware glazes will be added..
Inspired by the changing seasons/skies & nature all around us which we are all part off! ~ & hoping they will turn out showing depth, colour and emotion for the Ilkley Arts Trail happening this October.
